Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB specializes in high-end plumbing and HVAC services, and we're looking for a hard-working person to join us as a Furnace/AC Retrofit Installer - HVAC Service Tech in our Service Department! This hybrid role involves installing retrofit HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, etc.) while also being open to handling service and maintenance work when needed. Whether you're an installer open to service or a technician with installation skills, we need you.

Earn a competitive wage of $36.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on skill level and experience.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

OUR IDEAL FURNACE/AC RETROFIT INSTALLER:
We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:
- Experience with residential AC and furnace installations
- Experience with residential hot water tanks, gas lines and tankless installations is preferred
- Experience with ductwork/duct fabrication is an asset
- Sheet Metal Journeyperson Certification
- Tech-savvy with iPads, texting apps, and email (ServiceTitan software experience is a bonus)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work
And who can manage these responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential AC and furnace systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites
